-BREWMASTER'S COLLECTIVE EXCLUSIVE- “This is the very first Brewmaster's Reserve beer and something I’ve been thinking about blending for some time. We selected barrels of one-year-aged Parabola and two-year-aged Velvet Merkin, then added locally sourced Madagascar Vanilla beans, cocoa nibs, and coconut. In the end, we created a 'liquid Mounds bar' – the closest thing to a pastry stout Firestone Walker has made." -Brewmaster Matt Brynildson

Bottle from the brewery. Pours drk brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla and chocolate with toasted malt - there's a spice note. Approaching full bodied. Flavor starts a bit spicy, develops bourbon/vanilla and has chocolate and strongly roasty malt. Not dry, but not sticky. Bitter is moderate, but controls things. Coconut suddenly pops into the mix. Overall it's smooth, a little complex and extremely tasty. Refined.
