Found at Yamaoka and even though November is past I was glad to find this as I wanted to try it. Two Rabbits Movember Manuka-smoked lager 6.5% Crystal clear mellow gold with a thick head of foam and a rich sweetly smoked ham (think honey glazed). Medium bodied and very smooth textured. The taste starts off smokey sweet, good lager flavor, some of that ham smoke and the aftertaste gives you a bit of woodsiness. Really interesting and tasty stuff, not as smoothly integrated as the classic Schlenkerla but definitely in the same vein.

Lovely stuff. Nice light smokiness. Little sweetness.

Tap at Rabbit Hutch. Dark brown with orange tints. Low head. SMoky, slightly roasty, dark chocolate. Dry, roasty flavor, smoky, cacao, lots of umami. Light body.
