Bottle from House Of Trembling Madness. Clear amber body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, toast and nuts. Flavour of brown bread and orange rind. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A rich, sweet, delicious beer. This is excellent, and (in my opinion) deserving of a much higher score on RateBeer.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear deep reddish / mahogany brown with a decent off-white head. The aroma is big and malt - drive, brown bread, malt loaf, molasses, nutty, rivita, touch of toffee, earthy, spice abs leafy vibes. The taste is drying, toothy, chewy, touch of bitterness, brown bread, rivita, caramel, malt loaf, touch of fruit cake, dried fruits, toffee, splash of cola, earthy and some leafy vibes with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth, but it's decent enough.

Bottle picked up from Apfel Getränkemarkt, Moosburg, consumer at home Saturday 5th February 2022 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6 Music and having a Chill 'Off' against Loz (more on that later with subsequent reviews I guess) we also had a nice Zoom chat with Scott and Mandy. Pours reddish brown in colour with a mid sized foamy off white head. Maltiness on the nose with some nuts and dark sticky fruits. A little toasty, caramel, molasses, nuttiness again, a tinge of metallic pleasant sweetness, good rich full bodied beer, perhaps a little one dimensional but it's very good.

Brown with a frothy, beige head. Typical aroma for the style: prunes, caramel and roasted grains. Taste has a mild, toasted bitterness on top of chewy, caramel base. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. A decent example of the style.

0,5 l bottle from Getränke Rücker, Lengerich. Clear dark copper, nearly mahagoni, with a small pale beige head in the glass. Looks really good. Malty smell, little bit metallic. Taste is malty, toasted, little bit sweetness, dry fruity. Spicy. Not as alcoholic as expected. Very low carbonated. Again a nice one.

Bottled, thanks SaintMatty! Clear mahogany colour, rich, firm head. Malty nose with some molasses and figs. Mid sweet with full body and soft mouthfeel. Rich on soft malt. Toasty and fruity, some honey. Mid bitter finish with mild warmth.
