Ein Bockbier der Extraklasse. Die spezielle Malzmischung aus verschiedenen dunklen Malzen gibt diesem Doppelbock seine warme, dunkle Farbe. Mit einer Stammwürze von über 18% reift das Bier gut 3 Monate lang in den Kellern unserer Brauerei. Bierkenner schätzen den ausgeprägt vollmundigen Geschmack mit harmonischer Hopfennote, der von einem sahnigen malzigen Schaum abgerundet wird. Ein Klassiker für die Starkbierzeit.

Bottle. Brown color. Malty bready aroma with apple syrup and a hint of licorice. Full bodied. Malty sweet flavor, almost sugary with notes of licorice. Just enough other flavors present to compensate the sweetness.

“Flötzinger Bräu Josefi-Bock“, Flasche aus dem Fastenzeit-Bierpaket vom Biershop Bayern. - Kupferrotbraun, klar. – In der Nase warm toastiges Malz mit dezenter Süße und fein hintergründiger Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk kernig toastmalzig mit bocktypisch voller Malzsüße, die hier mit gebranntem Zucker, Nuß und einer dezenten krautig-orangenschaligen Herbe einhergeht. Zart pilzige Fehlaromen. Milder rezent, vollmundig, glatt und etwas hart im Mund. Im Abgang arg gedämpfte Herbe und gebrannter Zucker. - Glatter aber etwas unrunder Doppelbock, zwar durchaus trinkbar und streckenweise sogar reizvoll aber etwas zu hart.

21.4.24: Rerate, hochgezogen, der Bock ist lecker. 23.2.19: Kupfern im Glas, in der Nase Honig, setzt sich im Trunk fort, süß, Malz, sehr süffig, mittig Trauben, Weinbrand, Cognac, hinten etwas schwerer, dennoch sehr gut trinkbar. Passt. 3.3

50cl bottle courtesy of Erzengel, thanks! A clear copper brown beer with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of strong caramelish malt, nuts, dark malt, moderate sweet malt. taste of caramelish malt, nuts, moderate sweet strong caramelish malt, bread, a bit sticky. Quite nice!

500ml Bottle - Dark amber with a small head.Caramel, raisins and sultanas in the aroma. Malty and fairly sweet taste with caramel, nuts, raisins, sultanas and toffee detected.

Clear deep amber colour, tall creamy beige head, good retention, good lacing. Aroma toasted malt, broen sugar, caramel, nutty notes, some alcohol. Taste light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, roasty, sugary, toffee. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, light warming alcohol, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, overall a good bock.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours clear ruby with a little head that quickly disappears. Some typical Doppelbock tastes and aromas, yet they’re all not refined or well-defined. Greasy. Not particularly appealing.
