Bottled 500ml. -from random store in Bamberg. Orange/amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head that went away fast, light malty and caramel nose. Sweetish malty, caramel and light bitter grainy with hint of brown sugar in the finish. Not bad but overrated.

Courtesy of ogovlado, thanks! Bronze body, clear. ZKL? Seriously? Off white. Nice light malty nose, light strawberry jam. Sweet, grainy. Crappy maltiness, ashy, shitty dogfood, dry, supporting a nice herbal hopiness. Bitterish aftertaste, long. Meh.

Bottle. Light brown beer with a very light head. The aroma is gently malty, and the flavour is very well roasted and quite malty. Overall a reasonable bitter and roasted beer with a malty edge.

Cycled into town (Bamberg) from our campsite just outside at Bug 17-06-10 had this on tap at the brewery tap. Pours amber in colour with a slim white head. The taste is bitter and not too dissimilar to a UK bitter, though clearly more lager like in style. Some dryness showing touch of fruitiness, its fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

50cl Bottle at In de Wildeman, sold as a dunkel lager. Clear amber colour, dense white head. Aroma of caramel, light spices, some hops and grain. Flavour is light sweet, malty, caramel, light prickly and hoppy, metallic and hoppy bitter finish. Thin bodied, watery mouthfeel at times. Still an OK beer, grows on you with every sip. Not outstanding though.

Golden color. Nice aroma of cereals; cereals also in the flavor, with a reasonable body and strong bitterness. Pleasant.
