From tap at Ølbaren. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge, creamy and off-white head. Aroma is light butterish and caramelish roasted malty. Smooth caramelish, light butterish. Mild bitterness and light sweetness. Mild citrusy note, lingering fruity hops flavoured finish.

Bright golden-amber. Thick head. Lots of herbal hops on the nose with a kiss of breadcrusty malt...very appetizing aroma. Rich herbal bitterness, very fresh hop character as well. Dry, but with breadcrusty malts. This has become one of my favourite Bamberger beers.

(6/30/08) Draught (I think) at Stöhrenkeller in Bamberg. Clear amber color. Malty and toasty aroma with some light vegetal hints. Sweet flavor, slight sugary, with some caramelly malt and hints of bread. Medium-bodied.

500ml bottle at Cambridge BF 08. Amber with lasting beige head. Very tasty lager. Biscuit, bit cakey. Admittedly I expected something a bit more on the helles side. A little toasty. Tasty mid brwon lager, bit of depth. A little bready, fine. Drunk sat under a tree on Jesus Green during the afternoon kick out.

(bottle) Clear, light amber colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty nose with notes of sour dough and an apple fruity tinge. Slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly cara-malty and subtle fruity taste; dry, malt-accented finish with a moderate herbal hoppy bitterness (17.02.08).

Clear orange golden color, short frothy head. Aroma strong of hop, bit floral, fruity, caramel malt, toffee, like a good landbier. Nice bitter taste, quite malty as well with a slight fruity hint. Grapefruit and pine like hops. Nice stuff.
