Draught. Golden colour, big creamy white head. Aroma is caramel, malts and hops. Flavour is caramel, malts and hops. Wellbalanced and refreshing, even though it wasn’t so exciting.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 1 March 2007) Dark golden colour with pale hints of amber, firm white head. Clear (I wouldn’t really guess that this was unfiltered). Malty nose with fruity hop aromas of orange and apricots. Malty, slightly fruity taste with caramel, orange, apricots and spicy hops in the finish. Nice, tasty lager with a fruity edge behind the malt.

(On tap) Beautiful, clear - much clearer than you’d ever expect from an unfiltered beer - amber golden with a nice, creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Completely clean, malty aroma with a whiff of caramel. Medium body again with these incredibly clean malt notes with a touch of burned caramel. A dry finish. 071106

Draught, as Keesmann Dunkel (which it is obviously not). The aroma is weakly spicy/peppery. Clear dark amber colour, small stable head. The flavour is quite mild with a hint of earth. Rough, but low to medium, bitterness.

At the brewery tap Off-white, creamy head which diminihes mostly. Amber to golden body. Nose of cookie, grain. Moderately sweet initial flavour, lightly sweet and moderately bitter finish. So, the bitterness shows up in the end.

Draught at the brewpub: Light amber coloured, mid-sized lacing white head; sweet dark malty nose, delicate sweetish (malty) flavour with a light bitterness in the background, soft MF; slightly bitter-malty finish. Well quaffable, very O.K...............

[Draft] An orange beer with a collapsing head. The aroma is very grassy. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, hops, and yeast, leading to a dry end. The mouthfeel is sticky.

Rerate from tap: Fruitier chewier an more drinkable than the bottle. Good rustic balance and moreish. Bottle Nice nuanced aroma, malt and aroma hops. Cloudy amber, big head. Honeyish malt taste (some roasted flavors too), but not much more than that. Fizzy mouthfeel, thinish body.
