Based on recipes from the 1800's. A big malt presence is balanced by firm bitterness and rounded out with the use of brettanomyces, which makes this another great beer for the cooler weather. For those who are interested in the name, heated discussions about what to call it ended in a stalemate, by which time it had gone into a festival programme as TBC - so we just stuck with that!

Tap, half-pint shared with Finn at Beerblefish Brewing Taproom. Clear amber body, spotty lacing, filmy layer. Promising mid-sweet smell of dried fruits and caramel. Similar taste of dried fruits and caramel malts. Bittersweet tail, a piney note in the back. Well bodied. Likable. (The Blackhorse Beer Mile, London 21.11.2021).

Delt med Rune. Mørk gylden. Skumring. Klar. Aroma av bær & eik. Smaken tørkete bær. God fylde. Tørr treaktig bitter avslutning. Bra - men litt tungdrikkelig.
