Smell of yeast, banana, grain. Muddy colour, high foamy white head. Aroma of banana and other fruit, yeast. Apart from a faint bitterness and grainy aroma, not too much rye to be noted. Flattish carbon, mid-oily texture. Sweet and faintly bitter.

A dark brown beer with a medium and blond head. The aroma has wheat, bananas, sourness, some toffee and from spices there are at least carnation. Nice aroma with some sahti nuancees. Taste has wheat and bananas, also some toffee, spicyness and sourness. Medium bodied, strong carbonation. Fresh to drink even the darker nuancees. Positive surprise, nuanced.

Bottle 500ml (Alko)
Clearish copper-amber color, smallish white head. Aroma of overriped banana, caramel and rye. Medium-bodied, active carbonation. Overriped banana and some caramel in the flavor. Not so much rye flavors. Quite sweet hefeweizen. For being from Störtebecker quite drinkable.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 19.03.2015
Aroma is sweetish with ripe bananas and toffee. Also some yeasty esthers. Flavour has toffee, ripe bananas and . A solid dunkelweizen with no surprises; could not locate the rye here. Rather good one for a Störtebeker.

50cl bottle, bought in a cool mix six pack, pours with a somewhat hazy copper body that supports a tall frothy light tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up lots of banana and cloves as well as heated pieces of apricot and plums. The taste is fully fruity and sweet with banana, apricot, plum and some raisins. I’m really not getting too much else except for a dash of dried caramel and spiced apple as it slides toward the finish on a nice smooth creamy mouthfeel.

(Bottle) Chestnut colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with nuts, rye bread, dark fruit, hints of chocolate and banana. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, nuts, crisp-bread, banana, hints of clove, dark fruit and a finish with a light bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Interesting and tasty. Quite enjoyable.

BOTTLE 50CL from Erzengel. Thanks, Gabriel!
Look: murky amber with and ivory creamy head with good retention.
Aroma: light fruit/banana, yeasty, a touch of smoke(?)
Taste: dunkelweizen-like light sweetness, wheat tartness, light fruit, bread crust with a spicy touch (is this the rye?) .
All in all, a dunkelweizen with a spicy rye accent.
