On tap at the Engineers House. Black with beige head. Roasted, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, bit watery, medium sweetness.

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, little coffee, hops, notes of caramel and has a nice dry roasty finish.

1/3 pint at Calverley's Taproom. Spotty lacing, filmy layer, coal black body. Dark doughy smell, roasted. Plain roasted grainy malts to the taste buds, hints of chocolate. Prolonged ending, but rather thin on the swallow. Well crafted. Pretty nice. (Cambridge 10.11.2021).

Svart. Mokkafarget filmskum. Lett lakrisaroma. Smaken lakris & metall. Tørr avslutning - med en anelse sjokolade. Utmerket ut fra styrken.
