Bottle coming from the holy amstein, for peaceful and brave people, a day of rain like yesterday, a touch of autumn, melancholic, full body, malty, smooth, yeasty, toffee, apricot, plum, bitter, 10% to be happy, listening bossa nova. 02.10.24

Аромат просто офигительный. Очень много различных сухофруктов, в основе слива, изюм, карамельность с небольшим дымком, легкая бочка, ваниль. Цвет полу карамельный, пенка тонкая. Вкус потрясает, снова пир сухофруктов по началу, все это в сбалансированной карамельной сладости, на финише немного бочки снова с добавочной сладость от виски и общей ликерности. Прям удивил этот квадрик.

From tap at Woodies, Zwolle. Pretty bitter Quad with malt, caramel, spicy yeast, nutmeg, dried fruits. Medium sweet and fairly bitter. Medium body. Not the most complex Quad but kinda abrasive. I do like this.

750 ml corked and crowned bottle. Mahogany brown color. Pillowy beige head is long-lasting. Earthy, vinous malt aroma. Notes of dark dried fruits, honey and plum wine. Sweet jammy malt flavor upfront. Notes of black currants, plum, molasses, port wine, honey and fig jam. Soft, supple mouthfeel. Rich and flavorful with an underlying sweetness. I really enjoyed this.

On tap at Cafe Frape Maastricht. Clear dark cola colour beer. Lasting beige head Aroma of a quad. It's really good. They have nailed the malts. Fruity rich like Sureen malt loaf. Peppery hop on the finish white pepper. Yes very good. Big of a sipper this one. May take some time to finish.

ABV: 10.0%. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, caramel, heather, moderate hoppy, perfume, pine, woody hops, moderate yeasty, belgian yeast, sweet yeast, light honey. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, sweet yeast, belgian yeast, sweet malt, dried fruit, heather. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20240323]
