La Trappe / Brewdog Practise What you Preach, Fläschchen von Getränke Dietrich, Helmbrechts. Prima. (18.6.2023.)

330ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white to pale beige head. Relatively weak, sweet-ish fruity and minimally floral aroma, notes of honey, a touch of instant lemon tea, widely disguised hints of dried fruit. Taste is sweet, yeasty fruity, notes of dried fruit, plum, raisin, fig, hints of honey with an earthy touch, well integrated, bitter hoppy counterpart, hints of pear and a ouch of treacle in the last third; well hidden alcohol throughout, a minimally warming touch in the finish nevertheless. Creamy texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Undercomplex for a Quadrupel, not too modern (disregarding the instant lemon tea aspect in the aroma), maybe a tad too sweet - decent.
