Dit unieke bier is het resultaat van een bijzondere samenwerking tussen La Trappe en BrewDog. Gebrouwen vanuit een gedeelde ambitie om te laten zien dat geweldig bier goed kan zijn voor de planeet. Het is een hartverwarmende Quadrupel met Schotse heidehoning en Amerikaanse hopsoorten.

Bottle, 0.33l. Deep murky amber/brown pour, one finger creamy off-white head, long lasting. Lots of lacing on the glass. Very nice on the nose, caramel, dried fruits, candy, sugar. Full body, soft carbonation. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel and texture, chewy, sticky, quite pleasant. Sweet taste balanced with some boozy bitter notes in the background. Aroma of toasted caramel, dried fruits, herbs and spices. Sugary, molasses. Lingering honey in the background. Moderate alcohol burn, dry and warming. Long lasting finish. Very good.

Bottled 330ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Brownish coloured, medium sized pale beige head, spices honey and caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light perfumed honey and spicy with slightly sugary finish. Moderate carbonation.

Pours a fairly dark amberbrown. Fairly big white head. Creamy and stable. Scent is BE yeast, medium intense banana. Fine dried fruity side. Taste is far more banana-ester heavy. Too heavy, one might say (that one being me) . Medium body, high carbo. Some caramel, dried fruits, cloying, hints of chocolate. Very let down by the lack of innovation. Honey has obviously gone out due to fermenation.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small white head. Aroma is overripe fruity. Toasted malty. Caramelish and fruity. Lasting fruity and slight yeastie. Fruity far finish.

reddish-brown colour, medium sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma of dried plum and sour cherry, dry red wine, raisins, some cocoa powder, burnt sugar, honeycomb toffee and slight orange peel; taste is the same with burnt and hoppy bittery notes; great one!

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie, LiekevdV en TomvV. Het is een licht troebel bruin bier met een medium schuimkraag welke ebt naar een dun laagje. Het heeft een aroma van vanille, hout en whisky. De smaak is zacht, houtig, zoet en whisky achtig.ook hierbij is de nasmaak licht boterig.
