A re-brew of a highly desired Hazy Double from our past. The recipe has been updated to bring it in line with our current hazy projects - creamy, juicy, fruit forward aromatics, and low bitterness. Notes of Orange and Lime dominate with mild pine and earthy notes on the finish.

Clear orange blond beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, very fruity, nice stuff. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, lots of tropical fruits, gentle bitterness, grapefruit, tangerines, little oxidized, nice stuff, sugary, some alcohol, little sweet, decent. Aftertaste: little bitter, fruity, oranges, juicy, some tropical fruits, little bitter, spicy touch, nice, good one!

Very hazy deep golden coloured body with a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall just off-white head that fades slowly. Aroma of pungent grassy and herbal notes with some citrus elements, but a good blend of fairly strong malts and even stronger alcohol here - but the hops are by far the strongest, of course. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong pungent malty quality hits first with a light citrus and stone fruit flavour, but the herbal, perfumey and very grassy hop notes dominate with a lot of associated bitterness and a good kick of alcohol and warmth towards the end with a slight medicinal note. Aftertaste shows a deep hoppy quality that shows the citrus, resin and piney notes as well, especially at the end, but a good robust and balanced malt quality and a noticeable alcohol quality at the end. Overall, a nice but dry, very hoppy and bitter almost Imperial-ish IPA that has some good flavours and a nice balance, but lacks anything distinguishable or interesting compared to other beers from this brewery. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Gainesville, Virginia on 06-March-2021 for US$5,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 03-July-2021 after just returning from Alaska and New York.

Can sourced from Ales and Brews and shared at home - hazy golden yellow with a white head. As usual love the Adroit label art, the beer - well pretty solid, vibrant sweet fruity notes offered, lots of grapefruit, mango, tangerine, sweet malty backbone, to balance the sweetness some piney resinous bitter hoppy action into the close. Very nice.

473ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Initially cheesy, slightly soggy and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of Old Amsterdam, old citrus fruit, sweet-ish, minimally sugary, pale malty background; the cheesy flavours shape up as rather ephemeral, condensed, citrusy fruity flavours with zesty aspects gain weight, an almost liqueur-like citrusy impression (limoncello, curaçao) remains. Taste is sweet, minimally sugary, pale malty and zesty, citrusy, fruity hoppy, notes of mandarine, lemon, orange, again almost liqueur-like fruitiness; minimally warming, though not really alcoholic finish. Minimally oily, dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Zesty, citrusy, slightly liqueur-like, not alcoholic in an unpleasant mode but definitely punchy
