Leuchtender Bernstein, gekrönt von weichem, stabilem, feinporigem Schaum. Zarte Naturtrübung lässt die Sonnenstrahlen sich darin brechen.
Es duftet intensiv nach herben Zitrusfrüchten. Grapefruit und Limonenschale werden von harzigen Piniennoten zusammengehalten. Der Antrunk ist saftig, die Rezenz ausgeprägt. Der Körper muskulös und gut präsent. Einprägsame Hopfenbittere dominiert den Nachtrunk - langanhaltend, betörend, süchtig machend!
Ein klassisches Westcoast IPA - oh, how I've missed thee!
Hopfen? Hopfen! Unser Braumeister hat sich hier ausgetobt: Cascade, Mosaic, Citra, Centennial und Simcoe bringen 60 Bittereinheiten auf den Gaumen. Mit 8 Vol.-% Alkohol macht es keine Kompromisse - DOUBLE IPA!

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is piney hop, ripe citrus, orange, tropical fruit, grapefruit, malt, pine. Flavour is appropriately bitter with a moderate sweetness. Body is medium. Surprisingly good bitter(sweet) piney IIPA from Insel.

0,33 l bottle. Cloudy golden in the glass with a more than two finger white foamy head. Looks good. Intensive tropical fruity aroma, pale grain in the background. Taste starts with a short strong bitter hop shot, followed by a tropical section with resin. Malty background. Below average carbontaion. Long lasting bitterness in the aftertaste with resin. Nice one.

Fles 33cl in Zuidwolde gedeeld. Tropisch fruit, vrij bitter, pine, hop (mosaic, citra, simcoe, centennial, cascade), sinaasappel, muffig, maltzoetje. (14-10-2023).

Bottle 33 cl. Cloudy, opaque deep amber with a solid, beige head. Spicy, greasy, muddled hops. Medium body only, some initial caramel, nutty accents and a spicy, bitter fiish. English-style IPA, if anything. This brewery has never impressed me and this beer doesn't change that. 010523

ABV: 8.0%. Murky medium orange colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity hops, bubble gum - minerals. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, wheat, fruity hops, orange, minerals . bubble gum, canned fruit juice. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Sample (thanks omhper!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, some grapefruit. mild xylitol. Flavour is floral, xylitol and some mild wooden tones. A bit hubbabubbaish tones too.

--Bottled. -- Hazy deep golden, huge lively head. Caramelly nose with strawberry and grapefruit. Sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and grapefruit. Long bitter finish.
