Bottle at home in Salisbury, CT. Bought somewhere in New England. Pours mostly clear yellow, lightly effervescent, with a fizzy white head. Nice aroma with notes of crispy hay, cereal, flaked wheat, straw, mild lemon zest. Light sweet flavor with biscuits, dry wheat, mild bitter hay, faint dough. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Quite well balanced on the finish, some dry and lightly doughy wheat, more biscuits, crispy straw. This stuff is superb. Incredibly well balanced and absolutely drinkable. Plenty of character packed into a lean 3.8%. I could down this by the bucket.

12 ounce bottle. Cloudy pale yellow color. Large rocky white head. Fragrant, yeasty citrus malt aroma. Light crisp bready malt flavor. Slightly vegetal notes, with yeasty, doughy notes. Slightly salty with an earthy, sulphury nuance. A very nice and refreshing ale true to the Saison style.

Lightly hazy pale gold beer, thin off white head. Palate is light and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Thin malts. Little seltzer. Trace of lemon. Dry finish. A supremely dull and vacuous beer.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a small foamy white head that faded and left minimal lacing. The aroma was dry, dusty, pepper, herbal, spicy and had a hint of citrus. The flavor was dry, musty, herbal, perfumey, spicy and chalky. Long musty, chalky, herbal and perfumey finish. Light to medium body. Meh.

Bottle. Yeast, lemon, malt and hay aroma. Hazy yellow with large white head. Lightly sweet lemon, malt, musty yeast, and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Pretty solid especially given the ABV.
