Bottle. Yeast, lemon, malt and hay aroma. Hazy yellow with large white head. Lightly sweet lemon, malt, musty yeast, and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Pretty solid especially given the ABV.

12oz bottle. Filtered pale yellow-tan body. Foamy white head. Not really enjoying the aroma, sort of wet wheat and medicinal herb. The flavor is a lot better. Really clean body, very refreshing and enjoyable. Has some American Wheat tendencies, with some mellow well incorporated saison yeast tones as well. Good.

Bottle: Pours pale yellow, slightly hazy, with a small white head. Lemon, yeast aroma. Taste is bright, fresh lemon, citrus, light yeast, a little pepper. Really tasty and summery.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Chapel Hill, opened 3.31.15. Vibrant golden with a slight haze, thin fizzy white head, decent retention. Aroma of bready malt, yeast, spice, a hint of apple skins. The taste is bready malt, spice, hay, tart citrus. Thin-medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Union Market, Brooklyn sixer: pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is light apice, minerals, and yeast. Taste is a bit spicy, not very sweet, low bitterness, and a bit dry. Body is what makes it. Mineral water type feel to it. While it is light, it is not watery. Excellent day drinking type beer thing.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 9/13/2015. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Fairly dry finish with some lingering yeast spiciness after the finish. Damn nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a great crisp malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 3.8%. Overall this is a damn nice session saison style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
