Buying this beer in the spar market, Feldkirch, Oebb train station. Serving me this can with my wife, two days ago, at Epalinges. Nothing special, a dry radler, smooth, a bit sour, hint a dry lemon, malty, light body and light German bitterness.

Gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Verhalten malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich nahezu neutral, etwas Malz, schwache Spuren von Hopfen. Dafür sehr sprudelig... Mineralwasser halt. Leicht süß mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, ultraleichter Körper mit aktiver Kohlensäure.

0.33l plastic bottle from sutterlüty in dornbirn, bb 31.07.16. pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. aroma of grass, grains. flat carbonation (probably because it is out of date). it is not really sour, it is, like the description says, diluted beer. flavour of water, mostly. still better than most sweet lemonade radlers.

Saurer Radler, as one is used to it. Beer mixed with mineral water. The taste is exactly like their Spezial, just lighter. Way better than American light beer and probably containing a similar amount of calories. Not bad if it’s very hot, but don’t expect any "real beer" in there.

Leicht wässriger Antrunk. Frisch-süffig, Das Bier tritt sehr in den Hintergrund. Getreidig-malzig, leichte Süße. Die Wässrigkeit ist nicht penetrant, aber das Aroma ist insgesamt sehr schwach. Dennoch sortentypisch und passabel!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Getränk mit wenig Schaum. Geruch nach Limonade. Geschmack säuerlich fruchtig nach Limonade, kein Biergeschmack.

getrunken 2013 Damals war ich schwer gschockt, dass es ein Vorarlberg beliebt is, Bier zu verdünnen und als sauren Radler zu verkaufen -sogar vorabgefüllt von großen Brauereien. Inzwischen kenne ich es ganz gut, aber wirklich durchgesetzt hat es sich eh nicht. Wers mag, kann gern zugreifen -es ist halt Bier mit Mineralwasser.

0.33l PET bottle. Saurer Radler is 60% beer mixed with 40% mineral water from the Alps. Usually a Radler is ber mixed with lemonade, I’ve never had one mixed with mineral water, this is rather unusual. Clear pale yellow colour, medium-sized fluffy head. Fizzy and thirst-quenching, slightly malty, slightly hoppy. Thin but but easily drinkable.
