Huivi on klassinen böömiläistyylinen pilsner, jossa maistuu Keski-Euroopan olutperinteiden vaikutus. Huivi on maultaan yrttinen ja päärynäinen, ja siinä käytetyt saaz- ja amarillo-humalat tuovat juomaan lisäksi kukkaisuutta sekä aavistuksen sitruksisuutta. Huivi on raikas seurustelujuoma, ja se sopii esimerkiksi kala- ja äyriäis- tai kasvisruokien kumppaniksi.

Rated at Tavastiaklubi. Nw. Unprocessed & TesseracT. Stuffy, sweetish and slightly malty with hints of hay and earthiness. A bit unbalanced and stuffy

Bottle at St. Urho's Pub. Golden with a medium white head. Bread, minerals and notes of vegetables. Not that tasty.

Bottled (Pieni Olutpuoti Humala, Pori). Small deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some toffeeish tones with mild nectary tones. Flavour is fruity, some salty and mild nectary tones with mild herbal tones.

0,33l bottle from the brewery. BBE 2/2023. Bit hazy amber beer with medium head. Aroma has malts, yeast, herbs and vegetables. Flavor has malts, herbs, pine and quite much vegetables. Stale, dry, slightly bitter ending. Very far from the pilses that I know.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy ale amber, mid sized head. Chalky nose with some bread. Mid dry with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Really chalky with some caramelly bread and minerals. Dusty resinous finish.

[ As Vallilan Huivi ].
ABV: 5.0%. Light cloudy medium to light amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, dusty, vegetables, light hoppy, grass - earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, dusty, sweet malt, hay, light grass - earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20211127]

Smell of malt, caramel malt. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of caramel malt, malt, grain. Strong grassy finish. Bitter. Medium sweet. Lively carbon.

Bottle at home, Nivala. BBE 06/2021. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavors: Caramel, some grain, some hops and malts. Amber Ale / Pils hybrid.
