Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, pine and rye. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long citrus, pine, rye and licorice finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

February 2022: 440 ml can, batch #336, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. "Dirty" yellow cloudy colour, moderate white head. Aroma of liquorice, hints of pumpernickel bread and some pine. Flavour of liquorice and citric hops, some lactose sweetness, sufficient malts, low bitterness. Something out the ordinary this one, debatable if it is perfectly balanced, but well worth sampling.

Superficial festival rating during Håntverkerens Juleølfestival 2022. Unclear pale golden body under a white, fading head. Aroma is dominated by pine and grapefruit, but also malt and some licorice. Taste has the same flavors as found in aroma, feels refreshing and tasty. Nice take on the Christmas style.

YG 050122. Orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is orange, citrus, spices, grapefruit, pine. Flavor is oranges, citrus, spices, grapefruit, pine, grapefruit, oat, rye, lactoce, licorice, oranges. Nice beer.

Can. An unclear orange colored beer with a two-finger off-white head. Nice curtains. The aroma is grapefruity and piney, with a spiced maltyness, some pale malts, licorice hints and a faint orangey touch. It's medium bodied and semi-dry on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Grapefruit, orange, pine cones and some spiced maltyness. Some lactose and licorice. Medium length finish. Sure a decent one, but it'd sure prefer it at around 6% ABV and with more body. 220105
