BBP's first Lambic blend, brewed at Dansaert. We teamed up with David from Verger du Nord. His spontaneously fermented cider contained all heirloom varieties, 70% pears & 30% apples. Blended 50/50 with our one year old lambic (fermented in Bordeaux barrels) & aged together in a chestnut foeder for 6 months before bottling.

Head gone in seconds ove veiled orange-golden beer. Shoepolish, saddlesoap, horseblanket, and indeed dry apples, cider, lilies, floral. Cider, pineapple, faint horseblanket. Wheat. There's a faint smokiness - the shoepolish from the nose, here appearing as smoked malt. Light body, refreshing, medium to good carbonation, faint acidthinning. Guys... technically this is a PIDER Lambic (pider: mix of cider and perry). And it's good!
