Trockener, leicht gewürziger Beginn. Leicht karamellig malzig, etwas bitter, hohe Süffigkeit. Mittellanger Abgang. Okay, fehlerfrei, aber nicht wirklich spannend. 10/8/8/8/10/8

750ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, redd-ish, dark amber colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty and minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of red berries, very weak, nutty, earthy woody undertones. Taste is mellow malty, slightly fruity hoppy and minimally dry woody, hints of red berries, an earthy, almost a bit nutty and fungous touch of seasoned oak. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Not spectacular but quite homogeneous, mild, without edges, definitely profiting from the woody flavours - not bad.
