Cloudy dark brown beer with a thick foamy head and sweet malt aroma. Flavour follows suit, with a bit of fruit and chocolate too. Not that strong in flavour but nice and rich.

First Rating, 09/7/2015.Tap at CBF. Aroma like a tiramisu, chocolate powder and coffee. Underwhelming taste though, but still the same flavours (9/4/7/4/15 = 3.9) Second Rating, 11/15/2015. Tap at Micro-Armageddon V2 Zurich. So this is not a porter? I could have sworn... Roasty nose, matching taste, very nice. Chocolate, coffee. (8/3/7/4/14 = 3.6) Third Rating, 03/7/2016. Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Aroma of freshly raped apple, some oats, some coffee. Sweet taste, good body, low carbonated, but it doesn’t need more. Really a müesli beer! (8/3/7/4/14 = 3.6)

Cask at Erzbierschof’s Bar Krone, Bern; 4.6% ABV
Black color with fluffy beige head. Very nice aroma of fire oven bread. Soft mouthfeel, nice roasted malt flavor, breadish, maybe a bit yeasty, but overall it’s a very good offer on cask. Mildly astringent final.

From the hand pump. Dark brown color with beige head. Coffee-ish, woody. Taste is a bit weak. Very malty. Near-flat, but not fully flat. Okay. UPDATE: Had again at CBF Rapperswil, not from the hand pump. This time hops were more present, and more fruity. Surprisingly good.
