Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Raspberries
This all-too-drinkable fruited spin on Deth's Tar is equally at home in any setting. Aromas of roasted malt, American oak, bourbon, and fresh raspberry flesh emerge from the glass like a group hug for the nose while the palate is treated to a gentle sweetness and incisive acidity. Enjoy now or store cold.

Bit reddish hue over near black brown. Smells rich, sweet, jammy raspberry, light bourbon. Firm body, but not thick, pretty boozy. Lots of raspberry indeed, giving jammy fruit and tartness. Some roast, coffee. Very interesting and flavorful.

Been a long time since I had a jammy stout, it's insanely jammy. Mostly raspberries with a side of chocolate stout, it could easily pass as a dark sour. The bourbon barrel is real nice though, to round out the sour and sweet notes with sticky vanilla.
