Poured from the tap. Medium dark brown with small beige head. Bland chocolate malt, thin body. Meh.

On tap at Cat & Fiddle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals moderate toasted malt and some earthiness. Flavour is fairly dry and muffled, with earthiness and toasted malt. Not much depth but just drinkable. Boring, uninspired stout.

Okay dark brown body and modest foam. Nice sweet coffee and molasses on the nose, channeling the macro stouts of olde. Taste is soft barley, smooth coffee and molasses notes. Ends reasonably full. Fits the context it's meant for and that's about it.
