On tap at Erzbierschof Zürich. Pours clear light amber. Slightly sour taste, citric aroma. A good summer beer.

Hazy golden color with nice big head. Grainy-malty nose, rather dry than sweet, and with a delicate hoppiness. Taste is again malty and hoppy, an interesting combination. Finish is sweet-fruity and with a fruit aftertaste. Fine perlage. wow, surprisingly interesting.

Bottle 500ml. @ PBF 2011Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty, cereal notes, straw and hay notes, light alcohol, light to light moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration, sharp, bock - festbier alike. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110701]

Bottled 500ml (BB 07/2011, PBF)
Orange-color, hazy with some particles, small white head. Light malty, a bit fruityish aroma. Medium-bodied. Grassy, malty, a bit alcoholic, quite German heller bock. Not so bad for Swiss beer.
