Blik thuis geprobeerd. Het is een pikzwart bier met een volle bruine schuimkraag. Het heeft een zoete chocolade achtige geur. De smaak is vol, chocolade, toffee en noten.

Pours pitch black, like motor oil, and a brownish head that quickly disappears. Aroma's: sweet, (hazel)nuts, chocolate, fudge. Retronasal it's sweet, nutty, chocolate, light coffee sour. Flavour is heavy sweet, nutty, light roasty. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel. Alcohol well hidden. Long finish with lught coffee, roasted, light bitter. Well done for a pastry stout - and quite nice as well.
