Süßlich malziger Geruch. Im Antrunk malzig aber nicht süß, mild herb, etwas röstig. Süffig, steigende Herbe, ab dem Mittelteil leicht süß-malzig. Harmonisch, ansteigende Aromatik, langer Nachhall. Gutes Dunkles. 10/11/11/9/8/10

500ml bottle. Clear, redd-ish, dark amber colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, caramel and slightly dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of toffee, caramel, nougat. Taste is minimally sweet, caramel malty, minimally dry, grassy hoppy, hints of malt lozenge, a touch of toffee. Watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Clean and simple, well crafted.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a slightly hazy copper brown colour with a medium to large sized foamy beige head. Aromas of roasted malts, brown bread, caramel and hints of dry dark fruit and nuts. Taste is similar to the aroma with more pronounced notes of nuts and also a touch of brown sugar. Light to medium bodied, fairly smooth slightly oily mouthfeel with a roasty and nutty finish. Better than average Dunkel. Nice beer.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours clear amber, nose is musty, grass, herbs, taste is grassy, vegetative.

Bottle at home. It pours clear medium brown with a decent foamy beige head. The aroma is earthy roast, rye bread, toasted nut, woody and some dried fruits. The taste is dry, earthy, toasted nut, wood, quite savoury feeling, rivita, brown bread and dried fruits with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent enough dunkel.

Bottle. Brown color. Roast and chocolate in the malty sweetish flavor. Soft maltaroma. Very tasty dunkel.
