Short-lived white head over hazy yellowish golden beer. Grapey, vinous, lactic nose; hints at rhubarb, celery, green grapes, white wine. Dry, almost astringent, faint lemon, rhubarb, green gooseberry. Faintly vinous again. Light, acidthinning, well-carbonated, refreshing. Another excellent beer from Strange. Light, but good!

375ml bottle. Slightly milky, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with small to average, thick, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Vinous fruity, mildly woody, minimally tangy aroma, notes of white grapes, hints of oak, grape sugar, a touch of sauerkraut and lactic acid, brine, mustard seed, unripe mirabelle, quince. Taste is mildly tart, slightly dry, woody, vinous fruity, minimally lactic, very subtle residual sweetness, hints of white grapes, oak, grape sugar, a weak touch of sauerkraut, gooseberry, unripe quince, tannic overtones. Oily texture, minimally astringent, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very mild, balanced, homogeneous, thereby rich and complex - very good!
