Bottled. More or less black colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some nutty and mild toasted notes. Flavour nectar, fruits, some floral notes with some nutty tones, chocolate and mild herbs. Smooth.

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2016-2 thanks to Anstei] @ home. Opaque black color, huge lightly creamy tan head that lasts for a long time and leaves superb lacing. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, hops. Nicely balanced. Taste malts, some roast but quite lightly, light malt bitter, medium hop bitterness. Decent body , medium carbonation.

Tap at ZBF 2016. A very roasty and dark BIPA, not as hop forward as others. Good balance, but very bitter as well. Okay.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown toblack wih a huge tan head. Aroma is dark malty, roasted and solid hoppy. Grapefruity and slight pine hoppy. Bitter, dark malty, slight chemical impression. Bitter and fruity, solid hoppy. Bitter and dry, dark malty finish.

Good dark large head over pitch black beer. Dry hops with a kind of smoked sticks - as lemongrass used as kebabpins; laurel/bay leaf. Dry, ashes, flavour and again this marvellous Thai herb flavour. Medium bodied, dry, long-lasting flavours. Original, one you want!

BOTTLE 33 CL from Bov. The aroma is nice and complex, a interplay between hops and black malts - aromatic herbs, dill pickles, some lemon zest and just a touch of tropical fruit on one hand, and cold coffee roast on the other. Not much sweetness, but you can still pick up some licorice. The taste is a somewhat simple and pretty stouty. No, the hop flavours are there, but the roasty toasty and hoppy bitterness totally dominate the dry body. The finish is dry bitter with a touch of salt. Good, but not great.

Black color, small head. Good Black IPA, but it’s a bit too dry and carbonated; it’s also fairly yeasty.

Dark brown color with small beige head. Aroma is stouty: roasted malts, a subtle hoppiness. Taste is fresh, bitter chocolate, more roasted malts and with a bit of a bitterness in the finish. A bit weak in the taste. Smooth carbonation. Decent, but not my kind of beer.
