On tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Thick heavy foam, but muddy brown. Some aroma of vinegar, which is also found in the taste. Hoppy for a porter as advertised, but still far away from your hop bomb IPA. Not much porter flavour left, but the mix of interesting features doesn’t quite add up.

On tap at Microbrewer Armageddon Zurich. Hazy brown color with big beige head. Bitter chocolate, earthy hops in the aroma, hints of aroma hops, peaches and cat piss: Simcoe? Taste is dry bready malts, some coffee, maybe even tea? bitter dry finish. Nice and dry stuff, but quite weird.
