The compelling, exceptional aroma of Citra hops once inspired us to brew a single hop IPA showcasing the character of this variety. Today, still impressed by the tropical and citrus fruit aromas that can be squeezed out of this hop, we give you our Imperial Citra IPA, one of our hoppiest beers.

Bottle, 7.9%. Distinct caramelly hop aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is caramelly and quite bitter. The alcohol is not very prominent, but balances off the sweetness quite well.

Bottle. Pours hazy orangeish amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and fruit, with hoppy notes. Bitter, hoppy and citric flavour with sweetish notes of caramel, malt and bread and touches of fruit. Malty and hoppy aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Okay but not top notch.

Draft glass at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa’17 - day 1, split with 77ships.

Thank you for sharing Leighton / mR_fr0g / VsXsV! Sampled draft @ Warsaw Beer Festival Spring 2017. Hazy orange, creamy off-white head. Nose is onion & garlic hop, fresh some raw malt / wort, burlap sack hops. Taste is malty, onion, wort, grain, raw, light touch too malt heavy maybe? Body is grainy, burlap sack. Solid but not amazing.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest. Pours rich golden orange with a tight, creamy off-white head. Ripe citrus and lightly aged pine in the aroma. Big sweet flavour with nips of caramel, jammy citrus fruits, oily pine. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming and resinous on the finish, more gooey pine and ripe citrus. So so.
