Bottle. Clear dark brown with a 1 cm beige head. Aroma of chocolate, prunes, roasted malt and licorice. Somewhat syrupy and quite sweet with sweet chocolate and light roasted malt. Finish is bitter with licorice and a little metal. The sweetness is a bit sugary and plain but this is quite good. Just a little more burnt flavours would have worked a lot better for me.

Pours black with ruby highlights and a large light brown head.Nose shows light roasted malt, vegemite and liqourice. That vegemite is a bit full on.Better flavours, not as much vegemite. Plenty of sweet caramel and toffee, liqourice and soft roasted notes. Very sweet.More carbonation would be better.

From the tap at the brewery. Pitch black with thick, foamy head. Sweetish, burnt malt aroma. Sweet stout-like flavor: strong, malty, burnt. Half sweet, half dry finish with coffee and chocolate. Great. A very original beer in the Czech Republic that stands out.

Oh. Fantastic well-balanced beer. Nice black with fizzy brown head (unfortunately diminishing early) full-bodied smoky porter with toffee and coffe aroma. Thickness is remarkable for a porter. Flavour is firstly sweet malty and turns to a perfect bitterness. Aftertaste is long and Hmmm....Delicous. Uniqe or as Duke Ellington would say: That’s the one!

Colabrown beer with medium beige head. Syrup-like sweetness, roastiness and some sourness in the aroma. Flavour is right a way strogly sweet, surprisingly only weakly roasted or then sweetness hides the roastiness effectively. Some drying bitterness in the aftertaste. Slippery, full-bodied to drink with quite a lot of carbonation. Sweet beer, but still this beer has quite nice balance; for sweet-lovers or haters of roasted beer to familiarise to beer style.
