Bottled & Keg. A brooding, heavyweight stout, crammed with intense, deep-roast specialty malts. A recipe 8 months in the making with multiple edits before we were happy to proceed, in the end it was a delight to brew.

23.04.2016, 0,33l bottle (2015 vintage) shared at local tasting:
Nice light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish dry roasted, dark malts, weeds, roasted grain, sour coffee, minerals, hay, grass, bark, oak, alcohol. Taste is sweet sour-ish boozy, weeds, oak, dark sugar, dark malts, sour coffee, grass, minerals, burnt caramel, chocolate weeds. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Fair enough, not really my cup of tea...

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. The oily pour reveals a decent espresso head, spotty lacing and a jet black body. Inviting aromas of black chocolate and oak vanilla. Rich taste as well of black chocolate, vanilla, wood and some spices. Long-lived roasted malty ending with warmth from the alcohol. Smooth on the swallow. Top notch, with great sipper qualities. (Shared with Cunningham at the great Munch drinking session, hotel room, Oslo 15.03,2016).
