330 ml bottle of Meantime Coffee Porter; Nose of coffee, roastiness, and cocoa; medium brown with a small tan head; flavor of strong roasted coffee, with some chocolate and caramel notes. Decent coffee stout (or is that porter?)

Bottled. Dark ruby red/black colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is roasted coffee beans. Flavour is roasted coffee beans with some slight acidic sour hints. In some kind of perverse way I like this very much.

From Badgerben. Meantime has made one of the best coffee beers I have ever tasted. The aroma is all coffee, but it is pleasant and not harsh, just the right balance. Flavor has just a hint of mint and more coffee, but here again the balance is excellent. This is a really good coffee beer.

Aroma of coffee. And more coffee. Very dark color with ruby hilites. The white head dissipated quickly. Medium mouthfeel. Starts with coffee. Shifts to coffee. Finishes with coffee. To be fair there may be a bit of chocolate. The coffee tends to vary from start to finish. But itโs still all coffee. Dry finish. No particular hint of bitter. Not like anything I have had before.

33 cL bottle. Pours black with creamy and light brown head. Aroma is bitter coffee and vague notes of vanilla Taste is hardroasted coffee and some vanilla. Ends in a thick and oily mouthfeel with chocolate notes. Dominantly dry throughout.

Good, but seconds lingering, yellow-brown head; dark red-brown beer. Pure freshly milled coffee - with chervil for...? this is pure cappucino without the cream: freshly ground coffee, bitter cacao, and carbonation giving a balancing acidity. Very slick, smooth beer, creamy texture. Iโm not a coffee drinker, but this gets extra points for originality. Thanks to Mark Dorber.

Bottled. Dark, reddish beer with aroma of coffee and chocolate. The flavor is way too coffee-ish for my taste, one should probably have some food to go with it. Medium mouthfeel. Intensely coffee-ish finish. (061124)

Bottle 0,33l. Almost black with a mocca coloured head. Strong aroma of - coffee. Taste of coffee. Dry bitter aftertaste making you think that you have just drunk a cup of cold coffee. Too unvaried to become a good beer.
