It is not directly my kind of beer, the whisky hides the beer, smocked, sweet, malty, sugar, nice color of copper, one it is ok, 31.08.16, from one coop at Zürich, tasting it at Prélaz.

Bottled. Golden colour with a minor head. Aroma is peat, some smoked wet wood and also some smoked fish comes to mind. Flavour is smoked, some sweet malts, mild salty notes with some mild earthy notes. Kind of the same feeling to this as with Schlenkerla the first time I had it. Though this is not as good... but who knows, in 5 years I might like it a lot.

From bottle thanks to skullgeorge. Clear golden amber color with small off white head. Malty aroma, smoked, leather, bacon, whiskey, wood, caramel, hop notes. fruity, orange. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Golden with little beige head. Aroma is fish, peat, smoke. Taste is a bit salty sweet malt at first and heavy smoky fish later. Medium drinkable. Disgusting. (I hate fish)

Small yellowish head over clear darkre golden beer. Peat, tarr, peated malts jumping out of the glass. Tarred poles, Islay malt. Islay whisky flavour, in a serious, yet balanced enough whole. Sweet-ish, certainly nowhere cloying; phenolic. Quite slick, full bodied. Quite nice - actually really nice! Txs to the brewer!

Bottle from Coop. The intention with this beer was good, but despite liking smoky and tarry single malts as well as smoked beer, the flavours just don’t add up in this beer. The only acceptable thing I can find about this beer is its aroma.

Ruby color with small head. Smoky malts in the aroma, a little bit of hops. Good smoky malts taste, some Laphroaigy/Ardbeg peat feeling. Sweetness. Unfortunately no bitter finish. Still interesting.
