Bottle. Cloudy, deep golden body with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of oranges, resin, pine, grapefruit, citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery turning velvety texture, lively carbonation. Hops dominate the beer with a hint of toasted grain for a backbone. Bitter and resiny flavors along with raw, leafy hops. Lingering grapefruit rind and resin bitterness. Thanks SpudClampDawg.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent amber with a slight white head. Strong citrus, nee cat pee, aroma. Med body. Flavor is very, very citrus, with something else that’s very fresh hop, and the caramel backbone is very, very back. This is arguably a hop monster. Finishing quite hoppy and bitter. Excellent.

Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a crystal clear looking gold body supporting an off white head. The aroma offers up a big inviting mix of aromatics that include mango tropical fruit and malt sweetened grapefruit like citrus. Nice. The taste is pleasing with a firm level of grapefruit hop bitterness and what seems like a dash of malt sweetened mango tropical fruitiness here and there as well. There is a hop resin bitterness that helps dry this out a tad into the finish. This is a delicious robust IPA.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Clear orange color with a medium white head and strings of lace. Floral hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of hops, citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
