Draft pour pint at Monkey King, Ontario. Clean and clear golden appearance. Medium loose foam head. Quite the bitter bite here. Big grapefruit like notes, with rind bitterness, and a strong and bold, though balanced grapefruit hop and malt finish. Aggressive west coast IPA. Somewhat boozy linger. Pretty good overall.

NE style adzuki malt backbone throughout with moderately intense notes of pine resin with a sharp pine IPA bitterness on the finish.

Noble Ale Works Big Whig IPA 6.8% A sub-1000¥ import makes it a relative bargain in Japan. The aroma is piney and peppery. Fairly full bodied with a semi-slick mouthfeel. Well balanced with woodsy pine and peppery character. This beer reminds you how good a well done West Coast IPA can be.

16 oz draft at Tanners in Huntington Beach, California. The pour is a clear golden with a one inch white head. The aroma fresh and and juicy with citrus and floral. The taste is fresh, basically hop juice with the bright citrus and floral mineral carrying the finish. The palate is light to thin bodied with soft carbonation and a nice mineral bitter finish. Solid.
