Bottle 330ml. [ As Trois Dames Black Stout Menthe ].ABV: 5.2%. Sparkling, clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, mint, light licorice. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, mint, licorice, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy. [20120317]

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Near black with a big and bubbly off-white head. Aroma of licorice, chocolate, mint and CO2. Sweetish licorice and mint flavour with a fruity hint. Heavy carbonation

Bottle @ FOneFan. very dark brown/red wit big beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and mint. Flavour is roasted malts, high carbonation, mint, medium sweet, little acid, chocolate and liquorice.

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours dark brown with a fluffy head and lacings. Fernet Branca Menta. Vague roast, liquorice and fruit. Toothpaste. One dimensional. Spicy hot.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Near black, huge lively head. Distinct menthe and chocolate aroma. Dryish and slender bodied with sweet licorice beside the After Eight flavour - dark chocolate and menthe. Mid bitter finish. Interesting and highly unusual.
