From the Aldi, Valmont, Lausanne. One of my last bottle of a promotion during the last year that I don't find it this year, hard to find Swiss German beer in the French part, same country in differents countries. Good one, a mix between a dunkel/stout, 10.05.23

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano sentori di orzo tostato. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è nero come la pece. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul palato si fermano indizi di miele, caffè, liquirizia, pane tostato ed agrumi.

Tap @ Brauwerk 1779, St. Gallen. Clear dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. 220724

Tap @ Brauwerk 1779. Clear Brown with a beige head. The aroma is sweet, toasted malt, ligge coffee and honey. The taste is sweet and light bitter.

From tap in St Gallen with people from the GSERM Summer Course 12.06.23. Dark ruby amber. Pale brown head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of dark caramel, brittle, dark caramel, dried berries and noble hops.

clear dark mahogany colour, one inch of dense beige-ish head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of cocoa, roasted nuts and some toasted bread notes; taste has the same notes with some burnt bitterness; quite good dunkel

Malzig-süffiges Bier. Interessant würzig-trocken mit erdigen Komponenten. Die Würze steht (leider) im Vordergrund, das trockene Malz mit durchaus röstigen Zügen verbleibt im Hintergrund. Der Nachgeschmack ist trocken und erdig, dunkel mit malziger Würzigkeit und moderater Bitternote. Kein typisches Dunkel – könnte geschmacklich fast noch als dunkleres Märzen durchgehen.

Pours a dark brown color, topped with a decent beige colored head. Pleasant aroma of roasted malts, some coffee and caramel. Malty sweetness, roasted with some coffee and mild bitterness. Like dunkel should be.
