Can at Brier Rose, Brum. Aroma is citrusy and dry. Light-medium sweet citrus... so some vague sourness. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry finish. Basic SIPA.

Can at The Picture House (JDW), Stafford. Lightly hazed yellowy-gold with a white head. Exceptionally refreshing from the off, with florals up front followed by lemon and grapefruit and just a touch of pine. So, so moreish and drinkable. The flavours don't seem quite as punchy as I remember in the original version of Citra, but it does seem more refreshing. Very very good indeed.

Keg draught as 'Citra Unfiltered' in the West End Brewery. Light yellow gold and hazy with a bit of a smattering of white head. Light grapefruit aroma, some malty biscuit character. Out of this world taste: sweet and bursting with hop and an intense bitterness in the back of the tongue with a dry finish. Light body with zingy carbonation. Incredible.
