This completely dark, almost black stout simply enchants. We used an intensely roasted malt which gives the beer a pleasant coffee note and a taste of dark, noble chocolate.

Bottle shared. Roasty with a lot of coffee. Notes of espresso, coffee grounds, light caramel. Moderate bitter and light sweet. Nice roast, coffee beans, but lacks a little oomph.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Almost black coloured brew with an dry bitter taste with hints of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and some salty liquorice.

dark brown colour, half inch of dense beige head, which disappears quite quickly; aroma of dark chocolate, dairy cream, some coffee, vanilla and burnt woody notes; taste of over-roasted nutty, some coffee, dark chocolate, minimal dairy cream and burnt bittery notes; surprisingly good

Bottle shared. Dark brown. Soft smoke, earthy, dry coffee, blackberries, marzipan. Medium sweet and bitter, light tart. Medium bodied, slightly dry. Not bad!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Lidl Culemborg. Black with a beige head. Roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Sweet taste with a hoppy medium bitter finish. Nice hoppy stout.

Thuis uit een flesje. Bijna zwarte kleur, eerst uitbundig lichtbruin schuim, maar zakt in. Aroma van gebrande koffiebonen. Lekkere bittere smaak, ook koffie. Deze black jack stout is overigens 6,0%.

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie, het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout, koffie en een hint rook. De smaak is vol, gedroogd fruit en chocolade.
