Third Luxembourg beer from Erzengel of the night. Cloudy flat copper with a more than one finger white head in the glass. Sugar sweet belgian malty smell. Some yeast and hop. Taste starts smooth, sugar sweet malt, yeast, lo fruity. Expected more deepness. Littel bit alcoholic but also easy to drink.

11.2 ounce bottle from Festival Northland, as Bofferding Triple Ale, 3/22/20. Clear amber, thick looking, thin fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of yeast, candi sugar, dank fruits (not a typo--dank, not dark). Taste is sweet malts, stone fruit, pepper. Thin, and kinda bland. But not bad.

Bottle from Delhaize. Pours clear golden with an unstable frothy, white head. Aroma of honey, apple peel, banana, clove, white bread, yeast, iron. Taste has sweet apple, banana & typical residual white sugar; quite yeasty & bready with a soft spicy bitterness. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, more spices, touch of honey & warming jenever-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Overly sweet Belgian Tripel for the Luxemburg market - not even the worst in its kind!

Flesje geprobeerd tijdens vakantie in Luxemburg. Het is een oranje geel bier met een stevige witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppig en wat kruidig aroma. De smaak is bitter met hints van sinaasappel.

Bottle in Luxembourg. Slightly sweetish beginning. Hints of grain, no bitterness. Nice Belgian yeasts there, moderate sweetish body. Hints of yellow sweet fruit, Belgium yeast. The aftertaste is cake-sweetish, no bitterness with nice sweetish Belgian yeast aroma there. Interesting nice beer.
