Alvinne's Fellowship of Exceptional Ales. Fruit Flemish sour ale. #1000 rode bosbes - blauwe bosbes / #1000 lingonberry - blueberry. Inspired by the first chapter of The Fellowship of the Ring. Bilbo Baggins celebrated his 111th birthday by giving the One Ring to Frodo, we celebrated our long expected batch 1000. On May 28th we added 20 kg of lingonberries and 20 kg of blueberries to a 225 l Chateau Carbonnieux red wine (Pessac-Leognon/Bordeaux) barrel. #1000 aged for 9 months on this first time used Hungarian oak barrel.

2018 bottle, tasted 2024 a red berry forward slighlty sweet fruity aroma, there is a sour base there. the fruitiness reminds me a bit of lou pepe somehow, even though that sounds weird to me. Flavor is wild slighlty sour quite yeasty beer with a pretty decent sort of fresh fruity balance. Overall impression is a bit watery and weak for a 6.7%, it's like the beer lacks some oomph. Taste is quite good though.

Amazing colour, super clear. Taste is very Morpheus. Lovely sourness, with a hint of peach. Whole bunch of fruityness added by the berries, also adding some complexity. Lovely bunch of wine notes and oak from the barrels. Another amazing Alvinne
