Elegancja w czystej postaci. Ciemnobursztynowy Barley Wine leżakowany przez ponad dwa lata w beczkach po bourbonie Woodford Reserve. Wyraźny profil słodowy, uzyskany na etapie warzenia przebija się mimo wielu miesięcy dojrzewania. Nienachalna goryczka uzupełnia bogaty bukiet aromatów i smaków od suszonych owoców po wanilię. Harmonia, która dojrzewała miesiącami.
Zasyp: słody jęczmienne: Pale Ale, Monachijski, Diastatyczny, Caramunich, Crystal
Chmiel: Columbus, Palisade
Drożdże: Fermentis US-05

Brązowa barwa, klarowne, piana wysoka opada bez śladu na szkle. W aromacie wyczuwalne suszone owoce oraz nuty chlebowe. W smaku bardzo podobnie do aromatu, goryczka na średnim poziomie, alkohol delikatnie grzeje w przełyk. Nasycenie na niskim poziomie, oleista konsystencja.

Flaska från drinkonline.eu drucken med ölföreningen. Klassisk elegant bw. Torkad frukt, fat, aningen bourbon, vanilj, värmande alkohol. Komplex och välbalanserad. Mycket gott

Piwo na temat którego można by się rozpisać, aromat powala, waniliny, suszone owocki, toffi, delikatny szlachetny alk, długo się otwiera. W smaku może zdziwić delikatna klepkowata kwaśność i lekkość ( niskie ciało jak na tak wysokie blg), wanilia obecna w smaku, sporo drewna, przyjemny subtelnie rozgrzewający destylat. Wydaje mi się najbardziej zbalansowane i dostojne z całej czwórki. I zaskakuje ta lekkość i kwaśność ( takie wysuszające muśnięcie dosłownie, ani to bretty, no ciężko określić). Myślę że nie ma co trzymać, trzeba pić.

Bottle at BBT 10/2021. I have a slightly worse sense of smell this time. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Moderate alcoholic warmth, feels kinda unpleasant, too much. Assertive sherryish and dried fruits character. Pretty high intensity of character, though rather simple in width. The bourbon barrels impart less character than expected, but maybe that is actually for the better. Feels kinda empty, also rough, but both perfectly acceptable in terms of style. Overall quite good, but not great to me.

From bottle at BBT, October 2021. Dark chestnut brown with big ears head. Aroma of sweet malt, barrel, light oxidation. Taste, sweet malt, bourbon, caramel, vanilla. Tasty.

Chestnut color with medium beige head. Aroma: vanilla, toffee, sweetish caramel, dried fruits, touch of american hops even. Taste: sweet vanilla, nutty, sweet caramel, toffee, oak wood. Full body, low carbonation. Great one.
