bottle - shared during Dart Night - cellared for a few years. I loved this - felt more like an imperial stout, but best baltic porter ive had, no questions.

375ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, dense, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. BA supported, sweet-ish, chocolately and slightly roasty, dark malty as well as caramel malty and mildly spicy aroma, notes of caramel, dark caramel, dark chocolate, vanilla, Bourbon, a touch of maple syrup, wafers, cinnamon, treacle; dark caramel has even a touch of burnt caramel, almost mild smokiness. Taste is sweet-ish, roasty, chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty, mildly spicy and minimally alcoholic, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, caramel, dark caramel, vanilla, a touch of treacle, mild Bourbon BA support refines the caramel and vanilla aspects, overtones of maple syrup, wafers, cinnamon. Oily to viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, creamy, soft carbonation. In just three words: close to perfection!

Bottle thanks to Andrew. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong vanilla, cocoa, wood, bourbon. Slick body, nice vanilla, cocoa, boozy, very nice.

Bottle from Drik. Black with beige head. Roasted with loads of vanilla, some oak, a bit of chocolate. Not overly sweet. Great stuff.

ABV: 11.0%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, barrel, barrel - vanilla, moderate chocolate, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, molasses - maple - brown sugar, vanilla, barrel, chocolate, sweet malt. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20220205]

37,5cl Bottle. Shared with the infamous SirAlexOfTheFriendsAndFamFame. Thanks man. Pours black with a small creamy beige head. Vanilla being dominant, wood, whiskey and coffee roast. Super soft and smooth. Slick and vinous well rounded finish. Soft Sipper.
