Beer Praga Dark Lager (Prague dark) has a rich caramel color, a classic sweetish taste of malt and a minimum of bitterness. Beer with a delicate aroma of hops and a delicate aftertaste. Thick, natural brown foam. Serve beer recommended slightly chilled.

0,5L bottle. Pours copper with light tan head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is caramel, malt and burnt sugar. Taste is sweet, burnt sugar, watery, caramel, and malt. Finish is some bitterness and burnt sugar. Overall: ok-ish dark lager.

Bottle. Dark reddish brown with a modest beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark berries, gentle spices. Sweet with toffee, some chocolate, stewed fruit and berries. Gentle bitter finish with some spices. Pretty good - rich for 4.7% and well balanced. Certainly have this one again.

Flaske 0,5l fra Kilpishalli. Mørk amber. Høyt tett skum med en pen lacing. Aromaen er syrlig karamell. Myk munnfølelse. Så ble det bare Smørbukk. Intet annet.

Good looking on the pour, dark brown to black with small creamy beige head. Aroma gives no clues, taste is overly sweet, cola flavored, some roast grain bitterness and very sweet finish. Much sweeter than I like, but may be a good dessert beer.

Draught @ Fox and Hounds, Aabenraa. Pours clear dark ruby with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, and nuts. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, yeast, and molasses. Bitter-sweet, rather unbalanced finish. Drinkable but far from exciting.

12oz bottle pours a dark amber with some very thin head. Nose is OK, it has some nice pumpernickel bread notes, bread crust, mild toast, there’s a little off putting apple, cola and a hint of spice. Flavor has some fake vanilla, mild clove, caramel sweetness, some cheap wine, just lots of sweet. Lost a lot of the breadiness in the flavor. Watery finish. Kinda meh.

500ml bottle served at Nyhavn 17. Dark brown body, clean. Beige head, dotted spots of lacing to the glass. Roasted malty nose. Taste of mid-sweet malts, cardboard dry. Roasted bitter endnotes. Rather thin in the mouth. Ok and drinkable (in friendly company, Copenhagen 06.12.2013).

Bottled 500ml. From Tallinn. Deep ruby color, nice beige head. A bit milky, caramelly aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramel, quite milky, some metal, harsh maltyness. Sweetish with Saccharin added. Industrial but not hopeless.
