On tap at Fox and Hounds, Åbenrå. Clear deep amber body with a medium sized, dense and stable beige head. Medium aroma of roasted malt, toast and nuts. Flavor is sweet malty, slightly roasted, some caramel and low bitterness. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. Decent, easy to drink dark lager.

500ml bottle. Filtered deep garnet red-brown body. Fluffy beige head. Sweet Eastern European brown chocolate aroma. Pretty gross to me. There is some cheap brown malt extract the must use over there..just gives it a vile, off taste. Somewhat watery body makes it downable at least...I’m going to try and make this one not end up down the drain. I used to think Czech beers were safe to buy..but I’m finding more and more bad ones like this on the US market. Not like a good German Dunkel...this is cheap and unimpressive.

500 ml bottle, from Løvbjerg, Ikast. ABV is 4.5%. Dark brown to ruby colour, moderate beige head. Malty aroma with some slight sourish notes, pumpernickel bread and some caramel. Malty and medium sweet flavour, notes of caramel, hints of burnt toast. Minimal hops. Not too bad - could have been better, could have been worse.
