33 cl. bottle. Dark brown colour with a light tan, creamy head. Light roasted aroma with caramel malts, nuts, chocolate, only a hint of bitterness. Taste is sweet with a toasted note. Medium body with a creamy texture, soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with nuts and chocolate, only a slight hint of bitterness. Nice dunkel, far better than the pilsener.

Bottle, smallish head, deep brown with some burgundy red hues, aroma of dark bread with some herbs and skunk, flavour of dark bread, honey and a hint of dried fruits, a bit sweet kvass like character, and not enough bitterness, low carbonation. Drinkable but mediocre.

0.9 Fl. Oz. Brown/rubi colour with a creamy tan head; good lacing. Aroma has notes to toasted malts, caramel and candy sugar. Flavour is sweet at the beggining, with a final slightly bittery; brown sugar notes, caramel, chocolate with milk and toasted malts. Dense on palate. carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high. Texture is slightly oily.

Bottle. Very dark brown color, almost black, with a quickly-diminishing medium white head. Somewhat toasty malt aroma with dark bread, caramel and some butterscotch notes. Sweet malty flavor with caramel, bread, light vegetal hints and a drier finish with light bitterness, faint grassy notes and some toasty hints. Light to medium-bodied. So-so, too sweet to really be enjoyable.

Pour is a cola brown with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt. Flavor is again sweet caramel malt and some brown sugar. A little better than the lager from this brewer but it’s still pretty a weak mouthfeel.
