Keg at The Cock Tavern, Hackney, London. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Rich, sweet, chocolate, caramel, vanilla taste/aroma. Delicious rich tasting imperial stout from Dig Brew.

Bottle ordered from the brewery. Aroma of coffee and chocolate with a vanilla streak. Marred by a big dose of sour milk. Dark and glossy. Bubbly tan head disappears in seconds. Initia rich mocha hit provides bitterness with a sweet underbelly. Some dark berry sourness. Smoiths out and gets malty before the booze kicks in, as does the vanilla. Thick bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. By far the best I've had from this lot.
